I am a social media junky. The new culture developing around social media is right in line with the vision I developed as a young person reading science fiction and dreaming of virtual worlds. I think I’ve read every Robert Heinlein book ever printed. His book, Friday, predicted the modern version of the Internet and I was in awe. I tore through the dark but technically intriguing Neuromancer by William Gibson and dreamt of data becoming visual and virtual worlds haunted by console cowboys.
